As Developer you will be working with the development team to enhance the Vastgoeddata platform, improve functionalities based on customer requests and company growth.
Vastgoeddata offers an online database with information about commercial real estate (office, retail and industrial) for real estate professionals. In the database different datasets are cross-linked and accessible. By using innovative technology new possibilities are created to gather and unlock information. Abroad, this concept has proven successful; a US company with the same business model is even listed on the Nasdaq.
As a Developer you will work in a team of four software engineers. You formulate, implement and develop, in cooperation with the team, strategic principles in the areas of data quality, technical infrastructure, etc.
You are a developer who thinks beyond just 'building what is asked'. You are a real sparring partner for your immediate colleagues. You'll find challenges in modern product development and continued growth of this successful site. Your focus is on programming server side code, but you are versatile enough to occasionally work on front-end projects. You have an analytical mindset and quickly discover relationships. No-nonsense, result-oriented and you fit into an entrepreneurial, informal culture. Preferably residing in the proximity of Amsterdam.
We work mostly in PHP but firmly believe in using the right tool for the job. Our stack includes MySQL, ReactJS, Elasticsearch, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
